Adrian George Lucas Lopez

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Adrian Lopez was educated in Jamaica at Mona Preparatory School and Campion College, completed his secondary education in the United States , and received double-degrees in Computer Science and Marketing from the University of Lethbridge in Canada.

While in Canada, he worked as an apprenticed at an animation house in Calgary, Alberta.  There he was first exposed to computer animation before founding his first company, Digital Imageworks in 1988, providing animation services out of his dorm room while working towards his degrees.

After graduation in 1992, he returned to Jamaica to take up a  marketing position at the Life of Jamaica, then as a Market Research Manager at Guinness Jamaica. In 1997, before deciding to pursue his love of film, animation and visual effects full time.

In 2002, Adrian co-founded Liquid Light Digital with his sister Amanda.  Later that year Adrian was awarded the BWIA Award for Most Outstanding Animation for his short film “Roots”, presented at the Animae Caribe Animation Festival held in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Adrian has been awarded the Caribbean Peer Awards for Producer of the Year – TV Commercial, and Best Technical/Artistic Achievement, as well as the David Ogden Award for Best Director – TV Commercial. He also landed a Gold “Addy” award from the American Advertising Association.

With over 350 commercial and short film productions in his portfolio. Adrian is now turning his attention to developing original television and film content for the Jamaican and Caribbean diaspora.

Adrian is a member of the University of the West Indies Astronomy Society and the Jamaica Film Producers Association, he is also a certified PADI advanced open water scuba diver, an avid science-fiction aficionado and script writer, Apple iOS Developer and classical guitarist.

Amanda Vincene Lopez-Moleon

Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Amanda was educated in Jamaica – Mona Preparatory School and Campion College; United States – Klondike Elementary; Canada – University of Western Ontario, where she majored in Film and minored in Environmental Management degrees.

While in Canada, she worked part-time at London, Ontario’s Rogers Cable Systems, worked with her University’s on-campus television station, TV Western and also with the University’s Fundraising Unit.

After graduating in 1996, Amanda worked as a Creative Assistant at The Marketing Counselors Ltd. She then became a Director in Nature Treats Ltd. and Phoenix Vet Clinic consecutively in 1998 while freelancing in various capacities in the film/video industry. In 2003, Amanda is also a Board Member of Women In Film and Television International.

She has worked as an Assistant Director, Production Manager and Coordinator on various overseas productions (TV commercials, documentaries and films), such as the BBC, Warner Brothers (License to Wed), Malibu Rums, Heineken, Mattress Giant, ESPN, HGTV and NBC (among others). She is a member of the Hope Zoo Education Committee, a Jamaica Tourist Board (Meet-The-People Programme) volunteer and a member of the Wing Lung Kung Fu Association, she is also certified advanced open water scuba diver (NAUI and PADI).
